Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PatternMastery websites (patternmastery.com and patternmastery.pro) and services operated by PatternMastery ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Accounts

To access Pro features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Access

Subscription: PatternMastery Pro is an annual (yearly) subscription that grants access to all Pro features for as long as your subscription is active. Access begins the moment your subscription starts.

Pricing: The price is $19.99 per year. After the Launch Date, the price for new customers increases to $249 per year.

Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews once a year and your payment method on file is charged the then-current annual price (currently $19.99/year) unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email you before each renewal.

Free trial (promotional offers): Some promotions (for example, our July 4th offer at /usa) include a free trial period. We collect a payment method at sign-up but do not charge it during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your paid annual subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged $19.99 (plus applicable tax). You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid any charge.

Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your account (Members → Manage subscription) or by emailing hello@patternmastery.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for. Trial cancellations take effect immediately and prevent any charge.

Refund Policy: Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable and there are no partial refunds for unused time; cancelling stops future charges. For technical issues that prevent access, email hello@patternmastery.com within 7 days.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing. We will notify you of any change to your renewal price before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not wish to continue.

3. Free Content

Certain content and tools on PatternMastery are available for free without an account. We may change the scope of free offerings at any time, though we will not remove access to features you were previously using without reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, distribute, or resell your Pro account access
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from our platform
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our services
• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

5. Intellectual Property

All content on PatternMastery, including problem sets, video solutions, course materials, the BASIC Framework methodology, roadmaps, and design, is owned by PatternMastery and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may use our content for personal educational purposes only.

6. Third-Party Links

Our services contain links to third-party websites (e.g., LeetCode for problem solving). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will lead to any specific outcome, including employment at any particular company.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PatternMastery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

9. Renewal and Cancellation

Your subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current annual price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account (Members → Manage subscription) or by emailing hello@patternmastery.com. If you cancel, your Pro features remain active through the end of the period you have already paid for and then become inactive; there are no partial refunds for unused time.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
